In this class, we will be working beyond spinning to create a work of art.  By exploring color, texture and design, students will lock into their own personal inspiration and working from the concept to spun creation, students will spin a yarn and share the inspiration that it tells. Techniques will include different add in techniques as well as different textural and layered plying techniques. Students should be familiar with basic creative spinning techniques (corespinning, and plying with thread.) The more foundation the student has, the more advanced the yarn design can be.
