Take charge; don’t feel intimidated by cotton anymore. This notoriously short fiber is easily tamed and mastered by changing a few simple techniques. You have your choice of spinning tools - wheel, light weight spindle, and/or charka. Cotton is always soft, easy care, washable and machine dryable. It’s a great yarn for weaving, crochet and lacey knits. It is available in a variety of natural colors, and preparations. Participants Should Bring: A good working wheel, (scotch brake or double drive is recommended) or assortment of spindles include a lightweight one and your charka if you would like some help with that. 

Lazy kate and extra bobbins; Hand cards or carding board; Small towel; Rubber gloves, small plastic tub, apron, and appropriate clothing for dyeing; Hole punch, scissors, small baggies, pen and paper; 

Other tools, oil, etc. for your wheels.
