Workshop Description:  Come and learn the art of making Dorset Buttons. In class we will learn the four steps to creating Dorset Buttons:
Cast on the ring stitches.
Slicking the ring.
Laying the spokes.
Rounding (filling in the spokes)
Dorset Buttons are a fun, quick project to use up scrap threads and design your own unique buttons for your projects, for decoration and for making jewelry.
Class includes a beginners Dorset Button making kit, including all materials needed for class.

Students should bring: Eyewear that might be needed for up close work

Homework:  None. 

Material fee: $20    Full beginners Dorset Button kit which makes 14 buttons in 2 sizes.
