Description: Rope soled shoes, sometimes called espadrilles, are traditional wore in many parts of the world. Why not try these as an alternative to synthetics and leather? We will begin by braiding the rope and sewing the braids into the shoe soles. The uppers are crocheted to the sole in the colors and patterns of your choice. You can do this!
Skill Level: Intermediate Crocheter
What Students Need to Bring: scissors and an awl. Cotton yarn, the type used for making dishcloths, in the color(s) you prefer. One ball is sufficient unless you want multiple colors.
