#300 Robin Goatey —The Ancient Textile Tools of the Northern Roman Provinces two-day class. Comprehensive Fleece to Prepared Yarn   Full day Friday & Saturday  9am-4pm  Pavilion South  $200

Workshop Description: Learn how to create finished yarn with the Textile tools from the Northern Roman Provinces. Use the Viking combs to prepare Picked Fleece, Dress a Distaff, then learn to Spin and Ply on the 3 primary European Low Whorl Spindles & use a Nostepinne to make center pull ball of yarn. This class is designed for Beginners to Advanced Spinners. Class discussion will focus on the works of British Historian John Peter Wild.
