#206 Intermediate Landscaping with Wool by Elizabeth Whitton, Thursday 9 am to 4 pm
Experience: Some experience with flat needle felting is needed. Taking one of Elizabeth's Wednesday classes counts for this experience.
Workshop Description: Choose your own LANDSCAPE photo or painting to interpret with wool. Participants should have a basic experience with 2d (flat) needle felting before taking this class; and, will need to choose a picture that they want to use as a starting point at least two weeks prior to the class (unless they want to make the one shown in the class photo). Pictures should be emailed to Elizabeth - firstname.lastname@example.org so a unique wool color palate can be put together for each individual.
Participants should bring: Printed or electronic copy of the picture that you will be painting; needle felting tool/s if you have them. Tools that help the project go faster will be available to borrow if you don't have your own.
Homework: E-mail picture to Elizabeth (email@example.com) by July 29 if you want to choose your own. If you do not send in a picture, materials will be provided for you to make a painting similar to the one shown in the class photo.
Material Fee: $30 Felting needles, large foam mat, wool pre-felt backing, customized felting wool color palette. Materials fee can be reduced if you make arrangements to bring your own supplies.
Class Limit: 10
