#332 Woven Danish Cord Style Chair Seat by Gail Hollinger, Friday 1 pm to 4 pm
Workshop Description: Wood chairs with woven seats were common a century ago, but the seats in most of them are long since worn out, though the chair itself may still be sound. The Danish Cord style of weaving works well for chairs that originally had rush woven seats. Participants in this class will work on a stool frame, but if you have a chair you would like to work on, bring it to the workshop; please contact me so I don’t order you a stool frame. Your class fee will be adjusted to not include the frame cost.
Participants should bring: sharp scissors, a large crochet hook (size J-L). Optional: a chair, damage repaired and any needed refinishing completed.
Material Fee: $30 Stool frame, cord.
Class Limit: 10
