Workshop Description:  Come and create a fabulous felt vessel resembling a woodsy forest floor. We will explore methods of creating great visual interest through a fabulous, highly textured surface.  We will form our 3D wet-felted vessels using a flat resist.  Felting around a resist will produce a seamless, hollow shape.  You will love the techniques/tips offered in this workshop and will find numerous ways of incorporating these methods in future projects such a bags, hats and wall-hangings

Students should bring:  3 Bath size towels, A container for water (a beach pail is ideal), a laundry sprinkler or Ball Brause sprinkler if you have one.  (I will have several to share), Bubble wrap-2ft wide x 4ft long, Sharp pointed  scissors, a wooden spoon or rubber spatula for shaping and PVC pipe or Pool noodle for rolling your felt (may cut in half for easier traveling).
