Workshop Description:  Felt vessels are always a welcome surprise. Most people don’t realize that they are wool until they pick them up, feeling the almost weightlessness and beauty of these pieces of art. Students will learn how to felt, design a vessel, use a resist to create a hollow 3-dimensional form, surface design, the process of making a hard felt and much more. You will take home something to be truly proud of and enjoy.

Students should bring:  Bucket, old towels

Material Fee:  $30  Finn Roving, Merino roving, pre-felt, materials for embellishment (sari silk, sari fibers, neps, locks, etc.) resist material, instruction packet
