Workshop Description: Transform silk cocoons into mawatas (hankies and caps). Note - these hankies are not for your nose and caps are not for your head! They just have similar shapes. Learn how to soften and spread silk cocoons over frames to make silk mawatas to use in spinning, knitting, felting, or quilting. No experience is necessary. Frames for stretching cocoons will be provided to use during class and can be purchased to take home if desired.
