Workshop Description: Have you ever wanted to learn how to weave like our ancestors did? Try peg loom weaving – a highly portable and ancient form of weaving that requires no tension on the loom! Peg looms can be used to make rugs, table runners, blankets, scarves, mug rugs, seat cushions, trivets, and more! During the class, students will learn how to warp, begin and continue weaving, along with finishing out a weaving project. We will complete 4 - 8” trivets during our class time using washed wool locks and roving, and showcasing different techniques.
