Workshop Description:  The right edge can make all the difference. While stitch patterns and shaping often steal the spotlight, your choice of cast-on and bind-off can be the key to a truly polished, functional project—especially when stretch is essential. In this class, you’ll explore a variety of stretchy cast-ons and bind-offs, learning when and how to use each to suit different types of projects—from sock cuffs and shawl edges to flexible finishes on brioche knitting. You'll come away with a toolkit of versatile techniques that give your knits the perfect balance of structure and elasticity. Discover how a thoughtful edge can take your knitting to the next level! Students should be confident with basic knitting techniques like casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.

Students should bring: DK or worsted weight yarn (stash leftovers are fine, light colored solids or semisolids recommended), 16-in US8/5.0mm circular needles or size appropriate for your yarn, crochet hook.
