Workshop Description: Join us for a hands-on basketry workshop exploring the Square Rib Basket, a classic ribbed form known for its sturdy shape and elegant symmetry. Participants will learn how to build the frame, fit and weave ribs, and shape the basket to achieve balanced tension and graceful curves. Each participant will complete their own functional and decorative basket—perfect for display, storage, or gifting. This project combines traditional rib basket techniques with creative options for personal touches, such as adding color accents, decorative trim, or  your homespun yarn. Choice of hoop sizes and colors.

Students should bring:  A towel for your lap if desired.
