Workshop Description: Learn how to "paint with wool" in this beginner needle felting workshop. Students will learn how to use a felting needle to layer and attach wool fiber to a linen fabric backing to make this landscape. These techniques can be applied to other flat needle felting projects. Also in this workshop, we will cover needle felting basics such as terminology, where to find needle felting inspiration and support and where to source the best supplies. You will leave this workshop with your fiber art tool box filled with felting techniques and tips plus a beautiful felted picture. Students need only to bring finger guards and any tools they may have but are not required. Instructor will provide some to borrow during the class.

Students should bring: Finger Guards and Felting Tools if they already own some
