Visiting the Michigan Fiber Festival

  • Full Festival schedule including competitions, demonstrations, animals and more Saturday 10am-5pm & Sunday 10am-4pm
  • Vendors open for shopping Friday & Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday 10am-4pm
  • Fiber arts demonstrations Friday-Sunday
  • Workshops Wednesday through Sunday
    • Preregistration on our website is preferred. Closes Monday, August 10 @11:59pm.
    • Tuesday-Sunday register in person at the fairgrounds or call 269.948.2497. 
    • Half day workshops 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm. 
    • Full day workshops 9 am to 4 pm with a lunch hour.
    • Evening workshops (Wed-Fri) 6-9pm.
  • Food vendors and camping are available on the Fairgrounds!

Festival Admission Fees

CHILDREN 14 AND UNDER ARE FREE

• One Day pass for Friday, Saturday or Sunday: $5.00
• Weekend Pass for all 3 days: $10.00

Friday and Saturday workshop participants will receive passes if they have classes that day. All animal show exhibitors, weekend campers, vendors, and volunteers will be issued passes.

Parking

Parking at the Festival is free.  Handicap parking is available near each shopping venue and the buildings used for workshops. 

Festival Weather

Michigan is known for its unpredictable!  We encourage you to check the weather  before coming.  Festival happens rain or shine.

The cities of Allegan and nearby Otsego offer a wealth of dining and entertainment choices and we encourage you to support these local businesses.  Please note that lodging fills quickly, so you are advised to plan ahead.

Lake Michigan is not far away, with beautiful dunes and sandy shores.  There are several local and state parks for your enjoyment.

South Haven, Holland, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids are only a short drive away if you are interested in expanded dining, art museums or breweries.  These neighboring cities provide plenty of evening entertainment with ample hotel, Bed and Breakfast, and camping options.
