Christine Hornby Workshops
Fiber Arts are Chris Hornby’s main focus, she considers herself a fiber artist who likes to paint. Her personal artistic expressions come from her love of, and involvement in, historical handcrafts. Traditional Rug Hooking is one of her passions. It allows her to use an old technique to create colorful works of Art. Rug hooking is a special outlet for designing and use of color. Adding Punch needle work has become an other favorite over the last few years. Both with Yarn and with #8 threads, sewing thread or embroidery floss. She also, enjoys weaving on a number of different types of looms, including floor and inkle looms. She enjoys spins on a variety of wheels and drop spindles as well as various methods of creating rugs. She specializes in demonstrations and programs in the fiber arts.
