Skill level:  Beginner

Workshop Description: Learn the basics of rug hooking while hooking a small 8” square heart mat.  Students will learn how to hook straight, curves and points.  We will chat about the history of hooking and lots of fun discussions!  Afternoon will cover issues and finishing 

Students should bring:   A thick or wide 12” embroidery hoop
A sharp pointed scissors (Embroidery ones work well)
A rug hook (size coarse - they will be available to purchase for
$12.00 in class) or a crochet hook (size 0,00 or E)
Paper & pencil for notes
Hoops, Frames and Hooks will be available to try and buy
