Workshop Description: Have you been curious about using the Knitting Companion (KC) program to assist your charted knitting? I learned about it years ago but was more than a bit trepidations'. Then I saw the possibilities and it really has changed how I knit from charts. KC allows me to knit with more confidence and that has sped up my knitting. Shetland lace garter stitch motifs are a great place to start. KC students must have an iPad and a fully licensed copy of the Knit Companion program. Copies of the patterns we will use in class will be emailed prior to class. Previous experience knitting with charts is required.

Students should bring: :  Fully charged iPad with licensed copy of Knit Companion (about $30 a year), US2 and US3 needles for flat knitting, note taking materials.

Homework:   Make sure your copy of Knit Companion is up-to-date and that you know how to store a pattern on it for retrieval.
