Workshop Description: Knit cuffs are beautiful and functional. In Scandinavian countries they are called “pulse warmers,” they help keep you warm and even ease carpal tunnel pain. Functionally, they can protect the cuffs of your sweaters or coats. On a chilly day, they are a beautiful, sparkly chill chaser. Learn how to thread and place beads, selecting from one of three patterns. Also learn how to work a three-needle bind off and take a stab at grafting in garter stitch. Students should be comfortable working at a fine gauge (similar to socks, but this is flat knitting).

Students should bring: 50 gm of sock weight yarn in any color (variegated or solid), US 0/2mm needles for flat knitting, size appropriate darning needle, and a terry cloth dish towel.
