Workshop Description: Learn how to utilize your rigid heddle loom by incorporating pick-up sticks! This course will cover preparing a warp, warping your rigid heddle loom, basic weaving techniques, utilization of pick-up sticks, woven Shibori patterns, and fiber reactive dyeing. Course materials fees are not included in the registration and should be paid directly to the instructor just prior to the start of class.

Students should bring: Rigid Heddle loom, 12-dent rigid heddle, rigid heddle accessories, threading hook, shuttle, scissors, face mask, rubber gloves, 3 gallon bucket, 1 cup liquid measuring cup, notebook and pen.
