Skill level:  Beginner

Workshop Description: Learn how to sculpt with wool in this beginner needle felting workshop. We will learn how to shape the petals using cookie cutters and then make the leaves free-form. Once all of the pieces are finished, we will put the flower together from the middle on out. In this workshop we will also cover needle felting basics such as terminology, where to find needle felting inspiration and support and where to source the best supplies. You will leave this workshop with your fiber art tool box filled with felting techniques and tips. No experience necessary but students must have good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity - felting needles are sharp! Instructor will provide finger guards to borrow during class.

Students should bring: Needle felting finger Guards and tools if they already own some
