Skill level:  Intermediate

Workshop Description:  Taking raw fleece and carded wool, you can make a 'Vegan Pelt ', a seat cushion that can be washed and is so, so comfortable for your spinning chair or weaving bench. Learn the different felting properties of different wools. Techniques learned in the class can be applied to making a full felted fleece. Farm smells will permeate this class as we will be starting with raw wool.

Students should bring:  Towels, felting tools that you may have, willingness to work with raw wool, plastic bag to take home your wet project.

Homework:  None

Material Fee:  $65 includes all wools for the class, use of Magic Mesh.  Several types and colors of fleece will be available for your choosing along with backing wool.
