Workshop Description: Would you like to add a little 'wild' to your knitting or crocheting project? Incorporating wool locks may just be the pizza you have been looking for. Besides adding warmth to your mittens or uniqueness to a hat or scarf, knitting with locks allows you to experiment with different types of wools for your project. Lincoln locks can be used for a rug, Gotland for a scarf or hat. Toys come to life with wool locks. You will learn how to choose and prepare your locks to be incorporated and learn how to use them in a project.
Students should bring: Super wash wool yarn, needles or hook for the size of yarn and one size larger.
Homework: None
Material Fee: $25 includes prepared locks from several breeds of sheep to use in class, plus notes on the class.
